Sunergy Systems will be taking part in We The People Power Festival after the Fremont Solstice Parade!! Stop by Gas Works Park for fun activities and solar expertise!

PRESS RELEASE – We the People Power Festival

On Saturday, June 16, “We the People Power,” a surprise festival, will debut at Gas Works Park from 1 - 7 PM, directly following the Fremont Solstice Parade. Community artists and activists promise to delight and amuse in an interactive arts carnival promoting a culture of civic engagement. In the playful and family-friendly spirit of the Fremont Solstice Parade, original activities will include tax loophole hula hooping, hands-on crafts, adventures in urban farming, corporate personhood follies, make your own household cleaners, solar cooker construction, money out of politics stage, grocery toss (win reusable bags!), opinion booths, roving performers, meet the chickens,perception dollars and more.

With over 35 participating community groups hosting activities, We the People Power will serve as an engine for citizen engagement by offering a friendly, creative environment in which festival goers can connect their passion with action on issues that matter. From substantive discussion with community activists to goofy games and Solstice celebration zaniness, We the People Power brings Seattleites a whole new civic experience.
We the People Power is part of the Fremont Arts Council Solstice Celebration at Gas Works.
There is no cost to attend.
